Songs of West Canada (2002)

This debut release is an album of solid country/folk storytelling deeply rooted in the people, places, and themes of Western Canada. Tim’s writing style draws on personal experience growing up in this part of the world, working and living in a commercial fishing and forestry based lifestyle. The themes range from historical events such as the driving of the last spike on the C.P.R. to miners, loggers, salmon fishermen, rodeo cowboys, and British Columbia truck drivers. Combining genuine storytelling, distinctive songwriting, and spirited performances, Songs of West Canada has turned heads as an album of authentic Canadiana. This album was recorded in Hamburg, Germany and has developed somewhat of an underground cult following.
