Spider Bishop

Spider Bishop hails from Broadview, Saskatchewan and operates the "Big Bull Fiddle" unlike anyone that you have ever seen with his distinctive style of double-slap upright bass. He lays down the rhythm so that the band has a floor to walk on and you can be sure the dancers at the local hotel saloon are going to wear out the old floorboards when they hear Spider go to work.

Spider is a veteran of the Canadian roots music scene and has been Hus' right hand man for more than a thousand shows over the last decade. There is no doubt that Spider Bishop is one of a kind and also one of the finest roots-country bass player's in the land.
